The Belgrade Winter 2024/2025 event is in full swing, organizing perfect entertainment for children at several locations in the heart of the city. The upcoming weekend, from 17th to 19th January, is reserved for a handful of content that the youngest will enjoy the most.

Friday, 17th January from 15:00 to 17:00

Medieval Serbian camp - reconstruction of a medieval large noble tent, photo corner, taking pictures with knights and princesses, presentation of knightly combat, playing medieval board games, blacksmith workshop, medieval bazaar.

The silly red-nosed friend - children's animation, jumbo soap bubbles, making figures from colorful balloons.

Face painting and various workshops (drawing, coloring, sewing doll dresses).

Saturday and Sunday, 18th and 19th January

12:00 - 13:00 hanging out with the Paw Patrol (mascots), face painting, games without borders, medieval Serbian camp.

Children's amusement park: next to the food and souvenir stalls, there is a small amusement park with content adapted to children's age.

Museum of Illusions

A unique fusion of fun and knowledge has an idyllic program for the youngest during the winter holidays. Two different events for children are still on offer for a short time.

Time for a gift - It is magic of the holiday is a special for families at the Museum of IllusionsMuseum of Illusions. With a purchased ticket, each family can reserve a time for an unusual gathering in special rooms of the museum.

"If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?" or "What would a family evening without mobile phones and TV be like?" are just some of the fun questions that will further connect families, fill the space with laughter and create a warm, festive atmosphere.

The program lasts 30 minutes and is realized from Friday to Sunday from 13:00 to 17:00. Registration is required, and a special charm of this gathering is a family photo by the Christmas tree for all families who come to spend time right here.

Illusion workshops for children - creative time for the youngest is a traditional holiday and winter program that includes a visit to the museum and a stay at creative workshops.

Children have the opportunity to express their creativity by arranging tangrams and making illusion greeting cards. All activities are designed with professional guidance and are adapted to different ages.

The program lasts 90 minutes, and is organized every Wednesday and Friday until 20th January, from 11:00.

Exploring Space Secrets - The Search for Cosmic Oases

On Saturday, 18th January at 15:00, the Kalemegdan National Observatory is organizing a new gathering for children called "Exploring Space Secrets - The Search for Cosmic Oases". This is an educational workshop where children have a unique opportunity to discover the secrets of the Cosmos.

How scientists come to their cosmic discoveries, what are the most important missions in space, joint research into the potential of planets, their natural satellites and finally - whether life is possible on other planets are the scientific part of the program. There will be numerous creative and endlessly fun activities! The workshop is prepared for children aged 6 to 12, and due to limited capacity, registration is mandatory.

National Museum of Serbia Children's Program

Friday, 17th January from 11:00 is reserved for the literary workshop "A Dog Named Cat". The event within the "Holiday in the Museum" event, it is a gathering where a story about an unusual man and an unusual dog will be read with the mission to confirm how important friendship is. This is a great opportunity to come to the museum with your most loyal friend.

The "Museum Labyrinth" workshop is organized on Saturday, 18th January at 13:00. It is intended for children aged 7 to 10 and is a real program to activate young brains. The workshop is designed so that participants, divided into teams, solve tasks to get out of the "museum labyrinth" and reach the goal, i.e. the answer to the question "What is the thread that connects all the museum exhibits?" and all the while they play, they are actually exploring the permanent exhibition of the National Museum.
