The exhibition "Public Body" focuses on the presentation of performance actions by artists of the new artistic practice that developed in the late 1960s and throughout the 1970s in Serbia, parallel to the global trends of conceptual art.
The audience will have the opportunity to watch a recording of Marina Abramovic's performance "Liberation of Memory", Nesa Paripovic's film "N. P. 77", Zoran Popovic's films - Art Event, Richard Demarco Gallery, Edinburgh" and "Joseph Beuys, Twelve-Hour Lecture: Dedicated to Anarchys Kloc" as well as Rasa Todosijevic's video work "Was ist Kunst, Marinela Kozelj?".
The exhibition of films and video works focuses on the presentation of the artist's performance-actions through a dual story, indicating the classification of the character of performance: analytical, expressive and behavioral.
The presentation of videos and film works includes a segment of the exhibition "Public Body" which was presented last year at the Cultural Center of Serbia "Ivo Andric" in Beijing.
