The exhibition "Folk Costumes and Jewelry of the Central Balkans from the 19th and First Decades of the 20th Century" presents the basic elements of Crnilovic's ethnographic research work in the field in the areas of southern Serbia, Kosovo and Metohija, and Macedonia, between the two World Wars.
The basic principles of Crnilovic's research are the geographical, ethnic, and dialectological characteristics of the population, and based on them, three complexes of folk costumes are presented: Shopian, Moravian, and Vardar.
